Cheyenne builder Carter Brothers Construction
is proud to have been selected by
ABC-TV’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
to build the first “Extreme Dream” home
in the State of Wyoming.

When Dan and Dawn Miller purchased their 20-acre property, they had one vision: to create a safe-haven for animals. The Millers are passionate champions for all animals and have committed their lives to saving and placing hundreds of unwanted and abused animals.

It was soon discovered, however, that the Millers were being poisoned by Radon, which is an invisible, odorless, cancer-causing gas. Although the family had taken steps to eliminate the toxins, removing them entirely proved impossible. They were told that the home needed to be re-built entirely, but this was a measure that the Miller family could not afford.

The condition of the home was too dangerous to be habitable, and their rescue animals were at risk as well. In this episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” Ty and the crew, with the help of Carter Brothers Construction and hundreds of volunteers, renovated the Millers’ home to create a peaceful and safe environment for the family and their beloved animals.
